Ms. Embrey brings more than four decades of successful federal c-level leadership, portfolio management, and change management expertise to help clients accomplish their mission objectives.
A retired senior executive supporting major DoD policy and program portfolios in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, she leverages a substantive understanding of the key drivers of success in developing and executing complex federal programs to directly benefit our customers and partners.
Her accomplishments include spearheading significant change and transformation in the $56B per year DoD military health system, delivering critical improvements in wartime medical capabilities and support programs between 2001-2010, and serving as a key architect of emerging federal disaster response preparedness program capabilities between 1998-2001.
She also regularly supports the National Academy of Science, Engineering and Medicine as a member of selected studies, standing committees, and workshops; serves on the Dean’s Advisory Board for Virginia Tech’s College of Science; and is a frequent guest lecturer at Dartmouth College’s Biomedical Engineering Center.
